WE ARE SEEKING YOUNG ADULT PARTICIPANTS

South­ern Cal­i­for­nia Region­al Occu­pa­tion­al Cen­ter (SoCal ROC), Com­mu­ni­ties in Motion, and the Chy­na Nicole Foun­da­tion have launched a part­ner­ship to sup­port Tran­si­tion­al Age Youth (TAY) between the ages of 16–24. The pur­pose of this pilot is to help young adults obtain Career Tech­ni­cal Edu­ca­tion (CTE) skills in var­i­ous sectors.

Eli­gi­b­li­ty Requirements
— 16–24 years old
GED/High School Diploma
— Lives or works in the South Bay region
— Receiv­ing home­less ser­vices & supports

Pro­gram Components

•Full tuition, books, and school supplies
•Tutor­ing and edu­ca­tion­al support
•Edu­ca­tion stipend, Tar­get cards, and oth­er finan­cial incentives
•Month­ly TAP card/gas card
•Career coun­sel­ing and development
•Lead­er­ship and com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills development
•Life skills sup­port and workshops
•Train­ing and meet­ings support
•Some food/snacks
